Gus Monckmeier
Gustav Carl Monckmeier (December 13, 1888 – October 1962) was a German-American racing car driver and inventor. He is today best known for his participation in the 1911 and 1912 1,000-plus-mile Around Lake Michigan reliability races, which he recreated in 1961.
